At the age of eighteen I left England and set off traveling. Mostly financed through art, craft and music, At twenty five I decided that that was enough of that and settled down in Amsterdam. I started a string of businesses with various success but in the end became a full time sand sculptor. Several years later I sold my half of the sand sculpture company I created and used the money to finance my way through 5 years of art school. I decided that Amsterdam wasn’t a big enough pond to play in and so moved to New York. I then discovered that the US immigration system isn’t very giving and also how much I missed Amsterdam so I came home. Since then I have been working in my studio exhibiting in several key exhibitions and working on sand and ice exhibitions worldwide.
